**  Registration cut off date is 2 weeks prior to course commencement to allow individuals sufficient review of manual and D.V.D.   Classes do fill quickly.

This program has been structured to offer morning lectures and afternoon hot stone practical on each other as well as treating a variety of guests.  Students learn therapeutic use of hot and cold stones, essential oils, as well as wonderful Swedish massage techniques. 
Cost: $800 + GST ($48).  Includes Manual, Hot-Stone Massage DVD, examination fee, and in class products plus usage of our spa facilities for 25 out of class clinical hours.  Full government tax tuition receipt available. 

 $150 discount applies for certified Aromatherapist, Spa Therapists, & Shiatsu Therapists, proof required.   R.M.T.'s are half price  $400 plus earn C.E.U.'s.  Estheticians receive $100 discount.

Stone Kit: Includes bag of 56 Basalt stones, $209 + tax (not mandatory for course)

 Benefits of hot stone massage include relaxation, relieving aches and anxiety, increased circulation, detoxification & toning of the skin.   For therapists it can ease pressure off their hands, as the heat quickly aids melt away deep seated aches and tension.

Pre-registration with 25% non-refundable deposit required. Classes limited to 12 people to ensure accelerated learning. "Aroma-Hot Stone Therapist" Certification requires perfect attendance, completion of all 25 practicum's, blending assignment &  practical exam.  Course fee to be paid in full 2 weeks prior to commencement dates in order to review D.V.D. and manual.  Payment plans are available. 

Course Format:

Morning is lecture time and afternoons are spent hands on with the hot stone massage.  As an introduction, our first day is spent massaging each other.  

Each afternoon is filled with in-class practicum's on each other and then on  guests with a variety of ailments.  We pride ourselves in offering students the therapy rooms complimentary to complete their out of class practicum's in a spa environment with opportunity to learn many valuable insights to the business.

*Thermotherapy, benefits of heat and cold applications

*Hot Stone Facial Technique, beneficial for headaches, sinus congestion and more

* Cold stone therapy for acute injuries & inflammation, Cool Moonstone Facial Technique,

*Aromatherapy - basic introduction of Aromatherapy, includes history, properties of 24 essential oils, blending rules and clinical safety information

*Swedish Massage Techniques, incorporate the stones into a deeply relaxing massage.

*Business Registration, Insurance, Marketing on a Shoe String Budget; Students are welcome to volunteer at Networking events, demonstrations, Shows & health fairs that Inner Insights is involved in.

*Chakras Theory, use stones and essential oils to encourage balance and aid release blockages.

Certified Aromatherapy Massage Instructor, Stephie Cyr

Certification requires attendance of all classes, 25 out of class clinical, a blending assignment & a practical exam.  Massage therapists are only required to do 15 clinical and examination.  We are recognized by Human Resources and the Canadian Examining Board of Health Care Practitioners.

This is a luxurious addition to any spa, bridal party, retirement home, hotel or massage therapist's treatments.  The rocks' heat facilitates a quick and gentle release which is appreciated by both the client and therapist hands.

the average Aroma-Hot Stone session is valued at $95-$125/90min.
